In Mexico they celebrate for 9 days from December 16th to the 24th. Today, we watched the legend of the Poinsetta by Tomie De Paolo which is a Legend from Mexico. We then learned how to draw and paint the pointsetta.
We are really having a lot of fun learning about the different ways people celebrate. We have been talking about the similarities and differences with the way we celebrate. Remember to bring in you family's winter tradition writing to share next week. We will share a few everyday next week.
