Highlights from our Polar Bear Spirit week assembly

We have not only been learning about polar bears but, a bigger picture topic of environmental stewardship with this study. Students were the voice of our spirit week as they planned the activities for the school, made announcements, spoke at assemblies, created I movie trailers and educated the school and the community and so much more! We were fortunate to join and collaborate with another class to plan, write letters and share our learning. We were lucky to have special guests artist Kal Barteski and Ace Burpee join us for the assembly and our polar bear spirit walk.
