Our First Math Challenge!

In Room 41 we read the Math Curse written by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith.
In this book we saw how math can be seen in our everyday lives. Math is everywhere! For our first math challenge bring in an example of where we use or see math in our world and our everyday lives. You can write it out, draw it, send in a picture or bring in an example of math in our world. Here are some examples we talked about...
Measuring our feet for shoes
Baking and recipes
Patterns In our clothing

Students from Room 41 who bring in something to share will have their name put in our class draw. You can certainly bring in more than 1 example but, students will only be entered once in the math draw for this math challenge. The draw will be done once a month. Stay tuned for more math challenges this month and the opportunity to be put in our draw!

Thank you for participating.
