December is Here!

December is here! We had a wonderful first term and it was great seeing everyone at student-led conferences. It has been so incredible watching the progress from the start of the year as readers, writers and mathematicians.

We have had a great start to our Integrated Arts Program. Students have been creating Stop Motion Animation videos around freedom.   Our last session is Wednesday, December 6^th.

In math we will be continuing to work on problem solving. Students have begun to work on  repeated addition and multiplication. We have also been working on using the mental math strategy of making 10 to help with addition and subtraction facts. 

We will be learning about different traditions and celebrations from around the world this month.

Wednesday, December 6^th- Our last Integrated Arts.

Tuesday, December 19^th- Early Dismissal.

Tuesday December 19^th - Winter Concert 2 pm and 7 pm.

Friday, December 22^nd - PJ party.

Friday, December 22^nd- Last day of classes.

Monday, January 8^th- First Day of classes.

Tuesday, January 9^th- Early Dismissal.

Monday, January 15^th- WSO field trip.
